This policy explains cancellations, statutory withdrawal, returns, damaged parcels and refunds for purchases from Alpha Christian Art. It does not limit any mandatory consumer rights that apply in your country.

1. Before production starts

Fine Art prints, canvases and oil paintings are prepared after ordering. Contact us immediately if you need to cancel or change an order. We will try to help, but cancellation or modification cannot be guaranteed once production, framing, packing or shipment has begun.

2. Change-of-mind and statutory withdrawal

If you are a consumer and local law gives you a right to withdraw from an eligible distance purchase, you may notify us within the applicable period. For consumers in the European Economic Area, this is generally 14 days from receipt of the goods. Send an unambiguous request through our Contact page and include your order number.

Legal exceptions may apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalized. The fact that an item is produced on demand does not, by itself, determine whether an exception applies. We assess each request according to the exact configuration and the law applicable to the order.

After notifying us, return eligible goods within the legally applicable period and follow the instructions we provide. For an ordinary change-of-mind return, you are responsible for the direct return cost unless mandatory law requires otherwise. Do not send an item to the address shown on the parcel without written instructions: the correct return address may be a production partner's facility.

3. Condition of returned goods

Return the item complete, protected and in substantially the condition received. You may inspect it only as you would in a physical store. Where the law permits, a refund may be reduced for loss of value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

4. Damaged, defective or incorrect orders

Keep the artwork, packaging, protective materials and shipping label. Contact us as soon as reasonably possible with your order number, a description, a photograph of the complete item, close-ups of the issue, and photographs of the parcel and label where relevant. Do not stretch, frame, install, alter or return the item before receiving instructions.

If an item is damaged, defective, not as ordered or otherwise non-conforming, we will provide the remedy required by applicable law, which may include repair, replacement, price reduction or refund. We bear return costs where the law requires us to do so.

5. Refund timing and method

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. For a valid statutory withdrawal, we refund amounts required by law, including the cost of the least expensive standard delivery offered where applicable, within the legally required period. We may withhold reimbursement until we receive the goods or evidence that they have been sent back, whichever occurs first, where the law allows.

Banks and payment providers may need additional processing time after we issue a refund. Import duties or taxes collected directly by authorities or carriers may need to be reclaimed from them.
